Collecting Memories

Time-lapse of Katie Ione Craney and Klara Maisch collecting discarded food containers from a rocky moraine of C'ulc'ena' Łuu' / Gulkana Glacier. We collected cans from the glacier and later learned some of them may be considered historical artifacts. In general, it is best practice to leave objects like these in place, as they may be an important part of the archeological record.
