A postcard sent July 15, 1997 from Fairbanks, Alaska to York, Pennsylvania
Postcard Inscription:
Thursday July 15th. We arrived Fairbanks today and it is a nice day after very hard rains and 232” of snow last winter. The Tanana River is 12” above flood stage and still rising all the rivers look like 50% mud. It is warm today here, but it has been unseasonably cool.
